EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE,
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agensy Company, Ltd., report as on tbeir Eketahuna stook sale, held yesterday:—ln sheep we penned only two lines nf fair quality hoggets and one of ewes and lambs, selling at 14s 9d for the former and 14s for the latter. In cattle the yarding was fair, bat the quality, with the exception of two pens, was decidedly poor. There was a good demand for yearling cattle and steers, prices being—calves 18s 6d to 23s 6d, 18-montbs to 2-year old steers £2 10s, oows £6, £5 10s, £4 15s, £4 12a, down to £4.
