NAPIER, September 6. The followng cabled report of the frozen meat market, at London, has been received "To-day's quotations are Canterbury mutton, Wellington, Napier, and North Island, 3}£d; lamb, first and second quality, 4%d. Beef, hindquarters, 3%d; forequarters, 2%d.
MAaTERTON STOCK SALE.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., held their fortnightly sale at Masterton onWednesday. They report as followA fair entry of sheep oame forward,'but only a few cattle. There was a good attendance and competition was keen, all the sheep being sold under the hammer. They quote:—Fat ewes 17s 6d to 20b, ewes with lambs 23a 3d, 17s 9d, 17s, 16s, empty ewes 13a Id to 16s, wetherß 18s 9d, hoggets 12s 6d to 15s, small hoggets 9s.j Fat bullooka £8 ss, cows £2 to £3. Weaner pigs lis to 14s, store pigs 20s.
