WEDDINGS.

FEAR—WADHAM.

at S. Matthew's Chnrob, yesterday afternoon, Miss Agnes Maud Wadham, fourth daughter of the late Mr Henry Wadham, of Carterton, was mHrried to Mr Fred. Fear, son of the late Mr M. Fear, of Blenheim. The bride was handsomely attired in a grey tailor-made costume, trimmed with cream, and she also wore a hat to matoh. Misa Lily Wadham, aister of the bride, waa bridesmaid. She wore a becom* ing dress of white hailstone muslin, trimmed with blue, and a white hat to match. Mr L. Attwood was best man. The ceremony wag performed by the Kev. A. M. Johnson. A reception was afterwards held in the Foresters' flail. A large number of guests were present. The bridegroom's present to the bridesmaid was a gold brooch set with a garnet and pearls. The presents received by the newly-mar-ried couple were numerous and costly. Mr and Mrs Fear left by the afternoon train for Palmerstou North, where the honeymoon will be spent. At the invitation of Mr and Mrs Fear the members of tbd Masterton 1< ire Police attended at the Foresters' Hall, last evening, and were hospitably entertained. The health of Mr and Mrs Fear was drunk with musical honours. A number of speeches were made. D-a WES—JACOBSON. At the residence of the bride's purents, Mauriceville, yesterday, Mr Alfred Dawes, of Masterton, was married to Miga B. Jaoobson, youngest daughter of Mr Jaoobson, of Maurhievilie. Mr W. Harding, of Masterton, was best man. The oere mony was performed by the Rev. Mr Legarth.
