BAZAAR AND EXHIBITION.
The Bazaar and Exhibition in aid of tiie Masterton Volunteers, Band and Fire Brigade was continued in the Town and Drill Halls Inst evening. There was another large attendance of the pnblio, and good business was done at the various stalls. The side-shows were well patronised, especially the shooting gallery. The dances in the Town' Hall, which were witnessed by a large audienoe, were neatly executed, and much appreciated. Every item was encored. A select programme of music was given by the Masterton Orohestral Society, under the baton of Mr K. B. Rathbone. Every item was greeted with loud applause. The items given were as follow:—"Araazonen" (march), "Sizilietfca," "Queen of Hearts" (waltz), "Waoht Parade" (German patrol), "Maoheohe" (march). The Bazaar will be opened this afternoon from 3 o'oloofc to 5 o'clock. In the evening thw dances in the Town Hall wil be continued, and in addition a programme of music will bo played by thu Masterton Municipal Band. To-morrow evening there will be a complete change in the programme of dances. The Secretaries, Messrs F. O'Connor and A. K. Johnston, the pervisor, Mr D. A. Morton, and the Committee, are leaving no stone unturned to make the Bazaar a success in everyway. The Committee desire that all persons who have promised articles, whioh have not been called for, to notify tnem, and a call will at once be made for the goods. The amount taken last evening was approximately £llO.
