SPEECH BY MR W. J. BRYAN. Received August 31, 9.30 p.m. NEW YORK, August 31. Mr W. J. Bryan was accorded a great democratic welcome at New York on returning from a visit to England. In the course of a speech ho denounced trusts, and declared that the time was ripe for the overthrowing of plutocracy.
