By Telegraph—Press Association.. AUCKLAND, August 27. g§ A serious accident happened on the steamer Ayrshire this afternoon. While hauling a launch on board the shackle gnve way, and an irotf derrick fell striking the captain, Streeter, the stevedore, Mr James Harrison, manager of the Settlers' Steamship Co., and Mr Arthur Sinel, a clerk in the New Zealand Shipping Co.'a employ. Sinel is very seriously injured, being struct on the head. Streeter had nis back badly injured and is confined to his bed, while Harrison was also badly injured in the bauk.
