The man who really has love for his horses and seeks to give them a chance to perform thuir part without iDjury to themselves, as well as in a manner that will bo a profit to himself, will study their needs under varying conditions, as well as thß character of each individual horse so as to be able to meet the different requirements as they present tbemselvofi. Such a man is alert, never allowing the harness to gall, or for laok of proper adjustment. He will not worry one horse 01 put him to a disadvantage beside the other, it is too often the case that the owner and driver of the horses need educating and training first. When failures and losses are met -pith, many find the man behind the team is responsible.
