The Capetown correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that it is understood that the destination of the steamer Maima, which has been chartered ii London by a syndicate to proceed to an unnamed island off the coast of Africa in searoh of diamonds, Is Mercury island to the north of Angra Pequena.
