MOTOR BOAT RACE. A SMART PERFORMANCE. Received August 26, 4.52 p.m. SIDNEY, August 26. During u motor boat the Invincible a 35-feet boat, fitted with 60borse power engines, constructed by the owner, obtained a speed of 21 miles an hour. The Invincible left her, opponents in the race as if they were anohored. FEDERAL POLITICS. MELBOURNE, August 25. The Federal Government intends to oall for tenders for a system of wireless telegraphy, giving all companies an equal opportunity. The Government lost control of both Houses yesterday.
