MR B. D. M'FAKLANE
A new tobaccouist business will be opened, tu-day, by Mr R. D. McFarlane, in briok premises next to the Empire Hotel, [Queen Street. Mr McFarlane, who has successfully carried on business in Wellington for a number of years, intends to run the shop on the most up-to-date lines, and trusts by this and courtesy to merit a fair share of public support. The shop is stocked with a fine and large assortment of the best and most popular brands of tobaccos, anl the stook of pipes, cigars and cigarette holders Is very heavy. Presentation pipes In oases are a specialty, the range being varied and I extensive. With the approaching busy spring, ana the solid growth that has existed in the business portion of upper Queeu Street for some time past, the new proprietor should have a successful future in stoie for his business. The public are invited to call and inspect the ofjgoods.
