THE CHURCH AND STATE.
Received August 23, 8.35 a.m. PARIS, August 22. The summer sessions of the French Councils, which are being held throughout France, generally support the Separation Law. Many condemn the recent encylical issued by the Pope. The Jews and Protestants are appointing Public Worship Associations.
