DEPORTATION OF LEPERS

DESTRUCTION OF RABBITS.

Considerable success has been obtained in the destruoton of rabbits on the Karigaroobie Station, near Orange, by tying a quantity of cotton waste saturated with bisulphide carbon to the bind legs of rabbits and liberating them. The warrens were blocked up, with the result that those rabbits inside were suffocated.

CRIMPING AT NEWCASTLE.
