A WIDOW AND HER VICTIMS
Reooived August 16, 8.30 a.m. NEW YORK, August 15. Tho police in New York are investigating the case of Mrs Lena Verault, alias Hamilton, who obtained large loans from middle-aged and elderly gentlemen, whom she professed to be willing to marry. The woman is the central figure in a syndicate of love, which represented her as a rioh widow. One victim advanced her £50,000 sterling.
