MR ALLAN'S RESIGNATION. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTOHUR.OH, August 15. Sir Joseph Ward met the Exhibition Executive Committee,' to-day, and discussed matters in connection with the resignation of Mr Robt. Allan, as Executive Commissioner. The Premier stated that the Government had decided to appoint two additional Commissioners to act with Mr G. S. Muuro, Chairman of the Executive Commissioners. One was Mr William Reeoe, and |he third Had not been appointed, but the positioa harl been offered to a gentleman who was at present considering the matter.
