The Taylor-Carriu£>tori Company produced the drama "Never Too Late to Mend," bol'oro a large audience iu the loivu Hall, last evening. The plot eentvfis around one George Feilding, and deah chiefly with life in the Australian bush. There were some sensational scenes. The mounting of the piece was excellent. The various characters were well pourtrayed. Mr Charlie Taylor as Tom Robinson had a part that suited him well, and bis acting was warmly applauded by the audience. As Josephs and Jacky Jaoky Misa Ella Oarrington was cplended. Mr 13. Nightingale acquitted himself in a capable manner as Geurge Feilding, the heru, and Mr Ward Lyons carried out the role of John Meadows, the villain, iu good style. The other characters were as follow:—Peter Crawley, Mr 0. M. Keegan; Rev. Mr Eden, Mr Edwin Green; Farmer Merfcon, Mr 0. Paget; Mr Ilawes, Mr A. Fordham; Thatcher, Mr A. L. Coffey; Evans, Mr F. Anderson; Taunton, Mr D. Logan; Black Bill, Mr W. Bennett; Spider Jim, Mr A. Thorn; Dick Sutton, Mr H. Mayo; Susan Meiton, Miss Muriel' Murfcou; Polly, Miss Minnie Lancaster It waß announced at the conclusion of the entertainment that the Compauy .voula shortly psy another visit to Masterton.
