"NEVER TOO LATE TO MEND."
A dramatisation of Charles Reade's world-famous bpok, "Never Too Late to Mend," will be produced at the Town Hall, to-morrow night, and should prove a very attractive bill of dramatic fare, for the power and pathos of the romance serve as strong factors in the making of a good play. Mr Charles Taylor plays the leading part of Tom Robinson, the good-hearted ne'er-do-well, whose doings in prison and in Australia make the romance so attractive, and Miss Carriugton, as the unfortunate Josephs, has a very strong emotional part to impersonate. The management announce soeoial scenery and realistic stage effects, so the drama should not only be well played, but well-staged. The admission l'Rte and popular family concessions will be adhered to. The box plan is now open at Miss Rive's.
