GENERAL COMMITTEE,

The monthly meeting of the •Geueral Committee of the Masterton A. and P. Association was held on Saturday. There were present- j Mesars K. Gray (chairman), D. Caselborg, E. E. Chamberlain, J, C. Cooper, 0. C. Cooper, W. Cooper, J. D. Cruiekshauk, R. Johnstone, T. ?. Lett, F. C. Lewis, D. McGregor, junjf., J. McGregor, W. MoKenzie, J. C. McKillop, J. B, Moodie, J. Morris, J. Pi Perry, W. Peny, B. Rayner, J. Stuckey, G. 0. Surnuierell, and W. 1). Watson. "Ihe Treasurer repotted a dr. bal auce of £97 15s ?d. A letter **as received from the Masterton branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union asking the Association to co-operate in the matter of having h State experimental furnc established in the Wairarapa. It was decided to support the proposal, and chat the Chairman represent; the Association at any meetings that might be hell in connection with the mattter. The recommendations of the Ram Fair Committee, in connection with matters relating to the Ram Fair, were, with some amendments, adopted. The following sub-committeea were elected for tne ensuing year: —•Ground—Messrs VV. MoKenzie, 0. E. Daniell, J. 0. Cooper, W. Perry, T. P. Lett, B. Rayner, W. Cooler. Finance—Messrs J. B. Mnodie, G. C. Summeiell, 0. C. Cooper. Luncheon Messrs D. Caselberg, F. C. Lewis, T. P. Lett, J. Morris, and J. C. McKillop. Paddocking— Messrs R. J. Dagg, B. Rayner, W.I Cooper, J. Morris, J. 0. McKillop. Printing—Messrs G. C. aammerell, and F. 0. Lewis. Ram Fair—Mesars J. McGregor and W. 'D. Watson. Hcrse Parade—Messrs J. McGregor, R. Johnstone and J. Stuckey. It was decided to huld a special meeting of the General Committee on Saturday next, to prepare the programme for nest year's show. Messrs W. H. fcShute and A. H. Vile were eleoted members of the Association.
