The Berlin municipal authorities have decided to introduce a tax od nil binds of public amusements. The new duty will be imposed on tickets foi theatres, pahlio lectures, concerts, circus performances, music halls, publio balls, races, bazaars, and exhibitions of all kinds. There whl ] be a tax of one halfpenny on every ticket the {cost of whioh does not exceed one shilling. Tickets costing one shilling and up to half a crown will be taxed at the rate of a penny faithing; tiokets costing three shillings will oay duty at the rate of twopence; tickets oosfcing four abillings at the rate of twopence halfpenny; and those costing more than four,shillings at the rate of aDenny farthing for every additional shilling.
