A CONTRACTOR SENTENCED.
WEST HAM, GUARDIANS DEFRAUDED. Received August 12, 4.26 p.m. LONDON, August 11. Harry Elijah Bond, a contractor and member of the Leyton Urfcan Council, was charged with having defrauded the West Ham Guardians of £2OO sterling, by supplying coal other than that contracted for. He pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
