CLEARING SALES OF STOCK.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., announce au uureserved sale of dairy oowe, on Ihursday next, August 16th, en the farm of Mr Arthur Johnston, Mangamahoe. The list includes 33 cows aud heifers, due to calve at factory dates, also a number of other cattle, particulars of whioh are advertised elsewhere. Au important clearing sale of stock aud farm implemeuts, will be held by Messrs G. A. Fairbrother, Ltd., on Tuesday, August 14th, at Kokotau, on aooouut of Mr G. Shaw, who hus sold his farm. The entry is au extensive one, aud includes 500 ewes in lamt, 50 head cattle aud nine horses. The whol>< of the implements, whioh are in good working order, aud a quantity of chaff, oats, totara posts and aaobs, will be suld without reserve. The firm will, also, hold a clearing sale at Te Whiti, on Thursday uext, ou aooouut of Mr H. Rayner, whoso lease has expired, when 80 head of first-class dairy cows ana heifers, all springing to calve, several horses, pigs and fowls will be submitted without reserve. At the same time entries ou aacount of other vendors willjjbe submitted for sale. The sale in each case starts at noon. IN THE HOME.
