FRANCE AND TURKEY.
* DISPUTED TERRITORY. Received August 8, 8.25 a.m. PARIS, August 7. A serious dispute has arisen between France and Turkey over the Saharan oasis Djt»net, which was transferred to France under JJthe Anglo-French Convention, and which Turkey never recognised. Correspondents at Tunis state that both the French and Turkish troops are racing to occupy the disputed territory.
