A PROGRESSIVE FIRM.
MESSRS KRAHAGEN AND CHAPMAN. It is about 11 years since the tailoring business of Messrs Krahagen and Chapman was established in Masterton, and the progress made daring that time has been such that their business connection both in town and oountry at the present time is decidedly creditable. Some idea of their connection may be gathered from the faot that at the present time there are no less than 12 hands employed in the establishment, and as the busy season approaches the staff jjwill be further increased, Both partners have had years of experience at the trade and Mr A. W. Chapman, who joined the firm about three years ago, served bis apprenticeship with the late Jas. Reid (Wellington), and was subsequently in business on bis own account in that city for a number of years. All work entrusted to the firm is constantly under the personal supervision of the proprietors, who are assisted by a competent staff, and in the matter of fit and style of suits they guarantee to give satisfaction. The firm have always made a point of carrying heavy stocks of the best material obtainable, and in this connection patrons can rely on finding a varied and extensive selection of choice goods. The first shipment of an order of uew spring goods has just been received and they consist of all tejnds of the latest in suit ings. The shipment Also includes a by-line of fancy vestingß, in vanous colours and shades, which are well' worth Inspection. ' Saltaire suitings are also largely etooked, as well aa fano} worsteds, viuunas, and all makes of goods that are etooked by an up-to-date tailoring firm. The shop has been recently enlarged, and the welllighted interior is replete with all the latest fittings and fixtures for displaying goods to the best advantage.
