ROBBERS BUARD A MAIL TRAIN.

An attempt was made, to-day, to rob the mail train at Lifcao.

A passenger on theirain pulled the communication cord and brought the train to a standstill.

It is estimated th*>t there were six hundred casualties at Sveaborg, the scene of the recent | mutiny. About one thousand people are missing. There are eight hundred Russiau and one Hundred Finnish prisoners at Helsingfors (the capital of Finland). At Kroustadt there are eighty-five civilian prisoners, including members of the Socialist Revolutionary General Committee. The Finnish Senate has ordered the suppression of the Red Guards, which are now near Helsingfors. The Eighteeutb Naval Battalion has been transferred from St. Petersburg to Kronetadt. The battalion has degenerated into a disorderly rabble, many being drunk and prostrate in the streets.
