THE POLITICAL SITUATION.
The political position still remains nujhanged, and the Premier-elect bus not yet announced the personnel of his Cabinet. In nearly all circles in Wellington c is felt that if Sir Joseph Ward includes Messrs Millar, MoNab, aud Fowlda in His Ministry he will have got together about the strongest combination the Liberal-Labour party can provide. In answer to the question, "When will Sir Joseph Ward announce his colleagues?" an authority replied on Saturday, says the Posn, that probably some interesting news would be available on Monday. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGION, August 5. Sir Joseph Ward stated this afternooG that he has no official announcement yet to make regarding his Ministry. Messrs Millar and MoNab have arrived from the South, and are conferring with Sir Joseph. \~"-' MINISTRY TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE GOVERNOR TO-DAY. WELLINGTON, August 5. Sir Joseph Ward will submit the names jf his Ministry, and the pro posed allocation of portfolios to bis Excellency the Governor, to-morrow, and Ministers will be sworn-in during the afternoon. Late to-night Sir Joseph said that he was unable to make any official statement for publication in ftbe Press, there still being some matters in suspense.
