RONGMOAI NOTES.

{From Oar Own Correspondent.) Wednesday. 3 A very successful meeting of those interested in tbe work ot the Cburoh of England in the KongoHiai district was held in tbe School on Friday last. The Pev. Kucat gave some very interesting figures in with the Church work for the year. During the evening a number of musioal items were rendered. I understand that Messra Eaton Bros of Pahiatua have purcliuaed the properties of Mr Hall, Rongomai, ■and Mr Alex Anderson, of liketahuna. The usual socipl will be held here on next Friday. The residents of Tane are getting a social up for the following Friday. It would be a «ood thing I think if the sooials wore male 'Cinderella socials'.
