METEOROLOGICAL.
Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. on Tuesday was 26 points. Rain fell on 22 diys in July; highest 117 points on the 17th, lowest 2 points on sth and ' fc 6th respectively. Total rainfall for the month, 5.98 inches, as against 16 days with 2.47 inches iu July, 1905, and 16 days and 2.97 inohes in 1904. Total for seven months 1906, 29.39 inches, as against: 26.68 inches in 1905, |and 23.38 lnohes iu 1904.
