SCENE ON A JAPANESE CRUISER.
CAPTAIN SERIOUSLY WOUNDED.
Received July 30, 8.30 a.m. SINGAPORE, July 29. Captain Ishikawa, of the Japanese cruiser Ifcsuku Shima, reported that while returning from Australia be was attacked by the engineer, Kawai, with a sword, and seriously wounded. Kawai afterwards attempted to commit suicide.
