OTICE is hereby given of the intention I of the Council, at a meeting to be held on the 9th day of August, 1906, under the provisions of sections 148 to' 150 of "The Counties Act, 1886," to make the following rates for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1906, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1907, <m the rateable value of all rateable property within the County as appearing on the Valuation Roll in force at this date. A general rate of 5-8 of a penny in the pound over the whole County. A separate rate in the Wainuioru Riding of 3-16 of a penny in the pound. A separate rate in the Upper Taueru Riding of 1-16 of a penny in the pound. A separate rate in the Alfredton Riding of 3-8 o£ a penny in the pound. The said rates will be made payable at the County Office, Chajel Street, Masterton, in one Rum on the 27th August, 1906.
