THE BODMIN ELECTION. Received July 26, 8.55 a.m. LONDON, July 25. The Bodmin election, which was brought about by the unseating of the Hon. 'J'. C. Agar Kobartes, resulted as follows: Mr Freeman Thomas, Liberal 4,969 Mr Sandys, Unionist ... 3,876 Majority 3,093 (At the last general eleotiou the voting was as follows:—Mr Agar Robaites, Liberal, 5,201; Mr Horace Grylls, Liberal Unionist, 4,029. Liberal majority, 1,172).
