MEALS FOR SOHOOL CHILDKEN. LONDON, July 20. The Committer on the Meals for Scholars Bill recommends that the work of supplying meals be entrus ted to the local executive authority; with the help of volunteers. The committee suggests levying a rate of a halfpenny in the pound to meet the cost. Received March 23, 12.30 a.m. LONDON, July 22. Mr JKeir-Hardie moved the reduction of the salary of the Hon. John Morley, Secretary of State, India Department, in order to extend the soope of the Indian Budget. After disoussion, the motion was defeated by sixty-four votes.
