James Norton, Legislative Councillor, is dead. (Mr Norton, who was 81 years of age, was the head of a prominent legal firm. He was nominated to the Legislative Counoil of New South Wales in 1879, and was Post-master-General in the Stuart Ministry from May, 1883, to May, 1884). MR G. B. W. LEV* IS. Received July 19, 10.30 a.m. ' MELBOURNE, July 19. The death is announoed of Mr G. B. W. Lewis, the veteran actor and theatrical manager, aged 87 years. (Mr and Mrs G. B. W.
