"OOPPEP KING" LOSES £IO,OOO IN HALF AN HOUR. A palatial gambling house for millionaires baa been discovered by the New York police through a visit paid by Mr Augustus Heinze, the "copper king," on a recent night. Mr Heinze waited for a friend at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel for half an hour, and when he aid not appear, strolled into the gambling establishment in Thirty-third street, managed by Gottlieb Weinbaum. The millionaire lost £70,000 in thirty minutes, and then went back to the hotel. Mr Heinze spoke too freely of his losses, however, qnd now the police threaten him with criminal prosecution unleEa he gives evidence which will cause Weinbaum's arrest. Weinbaurp has operated the house solely for copper, steel, and Standard Oil millionaires, and a few "railway feini?s," and the police olaim that heretofore they bavo been unable to locate the establishment.
