MR ALFRED BEIT. Reoeived July 17, 9.30 a.m. LONDON, July 16. The death is announced of Mr Alired t ßeit, South African mineowner and financier, at the age of 53. MR JAMES GIBSON. Reoeived July 17, 9.35 £.m. HOB ART, July 17. Mr James Gibson, of Bellevue, Tasmania, the famous sheep-breeder, died to day, aged 78 years.
