LONDON MAKKBT ADVIUES. JULY WOOL SALES. Dalgety and Company, Limited Wellington, have received the lolloping cat'ls from their London house under date of the 12th instant: —Sales continue without farther change. The decline in prices is chiefly on scoured and inferior and faulty Merino wools. Further market advices under same date are as follows: Frozen Meat.—The" demand for lamb continues, but any change in prices is in favour of buyers./ The market is very dull for both mutton and beef, owing to lack of demand. We quote New Zealand prime orossbred lamb, Canterbury, light sd. North Island lamb, heavy i%d, light 4%d. New Zealand prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury heavy 3%d, light 3%d. North Island mutton, heavy, 3%d, light New Zealand prime ox beef, fores, hinds 3J£d. Tallow—Muttorktallow, unchanged. Low and inferior descriptions at par to 3d higher. Good to prime mixed tallow 3d to 6d per cwt higher. Batter. —Market quiet; official Copenhagen quotation unchanged. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending the 7tb instant amounted to 96,000 owt, as compared with 79,000 owt for the corresponding period of 1905. LONDON MARKETS. WOOL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Received July 16, 7.31 a.m. LONDON, July 15. Wool is unchanged. Scoured has a somewhat slow sale. For greasy there is keen competition. To date forty-seven thousand six hundred bales have been catalogued, and forty thousand three hundred and eighty sold. The sales included—Waiau Para 12 l-sd, Ell's 12% d, Ruatangata 12d, Mihj 14% d. FKOZEN MEAT. Eeceived July 16, 7.31 a.m. LONDON, July 15. Sheep Canterbury, medium, 311-16 d; other sorts unchanged. Lambs Canterbury, light and medium heavy 4%d; others unchanged. Beef—Foreqnarfcers 2 3-163, hindquarters 3%d. River Plate sheep—Heavy light unchanged. Beef—Forequarters 2 l-16d, hindquarters unchanged.
