MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. _LN Speolal Meeting of the Masterton Borough Counoil, held on on the 26th day of June, 1906, it was resolved (by way of Special Order) that the Masterton Borough Couuoil make a By-law under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1900, the object and purport of which Bylaw are as follows: BUILDING BY-LAW, 1906. 1. Interpretation Clauses: Regulations for: 2 to 6, deposit of plan«, commencement cf work, details; 7 j to 8, permits removal and re-erection of buildings; 9 to 11, setting back building line, buildings damaged by fire, sub-division of buildings; 1213, situation of w c.'s and privies, introduction of water and other pipes, etc.; 14, carting \materials, making good damage to footpaths; 15, erection of scaffolding, permits for; 16, scale of fees, to be paid when application lodged; 17, permits to be ia writing; 18, work not to be commenced or continued, without proper notice or Engineer's certificate; 19, plans; : 20, site of buildings; 21, architectural embellishments; 22, external and party walls, and fronts of hotels, public 'buildings and business premises, parapets, distances' and materials to be used, thickness of walls, prescribing use of hoop iron of galvanised inn wire in brick and concrete walls, hollow brick walls, lead covering templates, corbelling. The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a speoial meeting of the Masterton Borough Counoil to be held at the Council Chambers, Chapel Street, on the 25th day of July, 1906, at 7.30 p.m, at which meeting the day of the coming into force of the By-law will be fixed. A copy of the proposed Speoial Order and By-law is deposited at the Counoil Chambers, Chapol Street, where the same will be open for public inspection during office hours until the said confirming meeting is held.
