THE FEDERAL MAIL CONTRACT.
Received July 15, 4.30 p.m. LONDON, July 14. The Shipping Gazette states that the mail boats will call at Sydney. The statement that the subsidy is £125,000 is inaccurate. The annual payment will be really a good deal nearer a quarter of a million, and will be derived from several contributory sources.
