SENSATIONAL ENDING TO A WEDDING.
A MAN AKRESTBD FOR FORGERY AT THE CHURCH. SHOOTS HIMSELF WITH A REVOLVER. By Telegraph—Press Association. OHRISTOHUROH, Jaly 12. A man, named Charles Maotmtoheon, was waiting for his bride at the Linooln' Church, at 11 o'clock, to-day, when two deteotiyes came on the sceoe and arrested him on a charge of forgery at Wellington. The detectives searched their prisoner, and having done so consented to his retirement for a time to a lavatory at the back of the church. A pistol report was heard, and the detectives rushed to the spot. They fonnd Machutoheon with a *moking revolver in his hand, and n bullet wound in the centre of his forehead. They started to take him to the Ohrietoburoh Hospital, but he died On the way.
