AMERICAN TINNED MEAT.
Received July 10, 9.36 p.m. LONDON, July 10. Owing to the refusal by thb crew of one of the Atlantic Squadron to eat American tiuned meat, the Admiralty permitted the crews to return such meats, substituting Australian and Argentine tiuned meat. Received July 10, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, July 10. in the House of Commons Mr Winston Churchill, in replying to Mr Redmond, gave emphatic assurances, on Mr T. A. Coghlan's authority, of the satisfactory official inspection of Australian tinned meats.
