NOTICE is hereby given that at a ►Special Meeting of the Master! ou Boiougb Council, held ou ou (no 26!; h day of June, 1906, it wa& lesulvcd (by way of Special Order) that tho Mustorton Borough Council nuika a By law under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1000, the object and purport of which Byluw are as follows: — $ BUILDING BY-LAW, 1906. 1. Interpretation Clauses: Keg illations for: 2 to 6, deposit, of plans, - commencement r.f work, details; 7 to 8, permits removal and re-erection fjf buildings; U to 11, setting back building line, buildings damaged by fire, sub-division of buildings; 1213, situation ot w c.'a and privies, introduction of water and other pipes, etc.; 14, carting materiale. making good damage to footpaths; 15, erection of scaffolding, permits for; 16, scale of fees, to be paid when application lodged; 17, permits to be in writing; 18, work not to be commenced or continued, without proper notice or Engineer's certificate; 19, deviation from plana; 20, site of buildings; 21, arcnitectiiral embellishments; 22, external and party walls, and fronts of hotels, public buildings and business premises, parapets, distances and materials to be used, thickness of walls, prescribing use of hoop iron of galvanised iri'n wire in brick and concrete walls, hollow brick walls, lead covering templates, corbelling. Repeals. The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a special meeting of the Masterton Borough Council to be held at the Council Chambers, Chapel Street, on the 25th day of July, 1906, at 7.30 p.m, at which meeting the day of the coming into force of the By-law will be fixed. A copy of the proposed Special Order and By-law ia deposited at the Council Chambers,' Cbapol Street, where the same will be open for public inspection during office hours until the said confirming meeting is held.
