BREWERY AMALGAMATION.
Received July 2, 9.30 a.m. LONDON, July I. At a meeting of M'Craoken's Brewery Debenture-holders' Committee it waß proposed to amalgamate the Carlton, M'Craoken'P. Castlemaine, Shrararook, Foster, aud Viotoria Breweries under the title of "The Central Brewery Company," with a capital of £1,000,000. The amalgamating compauies are to transfer sufficient cash, book debts, etc., to provide a working capital of £250,000. The remaining £750,000 worth of shares are to be allotted amongst the amalgamated compauies in consideration of the goodwll.
