The following were the teams: — Albions—Ball, Holmes, Williams, O'Leary (2), Fitzgerald, Wiokens, Jackson, Langetone, Andrews, Lynn, Bentley, Jones, Jackson, and Blake. Gladstone—King, Kopu, Holms, Walta, Te Ano, Rapoma, Andrews, Pahira. Grant, Rota, Boyle, Crow, ria, Sexton, Ken, and Form an. The game was evenly contested, and although Gladstone won the match by 8 points to nil, it oan hardly be said that there was that maoh difference between the play of the teams. The visitors were the heavier team. Shortly after the game commenced Rapoma, for Gladstone, crossed the line. Kopa failed tooonvert. Gladstone ... 3 Albion ... 0 j All through the remainder of the spell the play was oonfined to about the centre of the field. The seoond spell was practioplly a repetition of the first spell. About half-way through the spell, Kopu soored another easy try for Gladstone. Te Ano converted the try. Gladstone ... 8 Albions ... 0 To the end of the game play was uninteresting, and the scores remained unobanged. Mr F. U'Gonuor was referee. JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. ALBION, 11. v. KIA TOA. The Albion Juniors met the Kia Toa team on the Showgrounds yesterday afternoon. The game resulted in a win for the visiting team by three points to nil. The match was a very even and hard-fought one. The goal for the winners was soored )by Cavanagb. The followiug team will represent "North Wairarapa Juniors against •South Wairarapa Juniors, at Carterton, on Saturday:—Fullback, Jaokvson, Maaterton Three - quarters, Rawson, Masfcertun; Williams, Red 'Star;; Fitzgerald, Red Star.
