LAUNCH OF A BATTLESHIP.
JReoeived Jane 26, 11.56 p.m. LONDON, Jane 26. The battleship Agamemnon has been launched on the Clyde. Mr Beardmore, builder of ■■ the Agamemnon, speaking at the launching ceremony said that the improvements to warships was so rapid that he foretold that in Ave yea rathe balk of the British fleet would be obsolete.
