FEMALE SUFFRAGISTS.
AGITATION FOR TH»E RELEASE Ob' MRS BILLINGTON. Received June 26, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, June 25. The newspaper Tribune states that a thousand meetings have already been held demanding the release of Mrs Billington, the suffragist, who was sent to prison on a charge of assaulting a pblioe officer. The paper condemns the magistrate's vindiotiveness and demands the resignation of Mr Asquitb,' Chancellor of the Exchequer. Ten suffragists were ejected ,r from a Liberal meeting held In Manchester
