WAIRARAPA RUGBY UNION.
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Waifarapa Rugby Union was held on Saturday evening in Mr W. B. Chennells* office. There were present—Messrs A. B. Charters (ohairman), D. K. Logan, G. W. Sellar, T. G. Hoar (Masterton), E. McKenzie and J. M. Nicholl. (Carterton), and A. B. Balfour (Martinborough). A letter was read from the Canterbury Union offering to play a match on August 15th— It was resolved that the match take place and that it be played at Masterton. It was decided to play a Junior match, North versus South Wairarapa, next Saturday, at Carterton, and that the two Masterton Junior captains and Mr Smallwood seleot the North team, and Messrs J. Brunton, F. Hawke and J. M. Nicholl Beleot the South team. Mr J. C. MoKillop was appointed referee for the matuh. The Secretary was instructed to write to the Hawke's Bay and Wanganui Unions' with referenoe to the visits to the Wairarapa due by them.
