GIFTS TO CHARITY AND EDUCATION.
Received June ,18, 8.44 a.m. NEW YORK, June 17. The New Yoric World says that millionaires in Amerioa have given £157,000,000 sterling to American charity and educational purposes during the past 13 years, hot including a sum below £2OO. Mr Carnegie gave £3,900,000 and Mr Kookefeller £2,324,000 during 1905.
