WEDDINGS.

HARCOMBE-RENALL.

A very pretty wedding was solemnised at tbe residence of the bride's parents, yesterday, when Miss Maud Renall, eldest dangbter of Mr and Mrs J. A. Renall, of Solway, was married to Mr Frederick Baroombe, son of Mr R. .1, Hareombe, of Masterton. Tbe bride, who was given away by her father, was handsomely attired in white satin. She also wore the orUiodox veil and orange blossoms, and uarried a pretty bouquet. The bridesmaids were Misses L., A., V., and T. Renall, sisters of the bride. Misses L. and A. Renall carried floral muffs, and tbe two younger bridesmaids carried floral orooks. They all wore pretty dresses of white cashmere with hats to match. Tbe bride's mother was attired in black clotd. Mr J. 11. Payton was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held and a large number of gnests sat down to a sumptuous repast, at wbioh the usual toasts were honoured. The wed.ling cake, which was an excellent sample of the baker's art, was a handsome fourdeoker, and was ornamented with fresh flowers. A large number of costly presents were received by the newly wedded couple. Mr and Mrs Harcombe left Masterton by the afternoon train for Napier, where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride's travelling dress was of black cloth, with white facings.

DIXON—FAUL.

Mr Eugene H. Dixon, eldest son of Mr T. Dixon, of Akura, was married to Miss Ethel Faul, daughter of Mr Faul, of Grant Road, Wellington, at the Sacred Heart Basilica, Wellington, yesterday. The ceremony was performed hy the Rev. Father Holley. The honeymoon will be spent in tbe Manawatu distriot.
