AN OLD MINER MURDERED.

An old miner named McNaughton waa murdered in cold blood near Cue. He as shot four times. The object was robbery.
A CASE OF PLAGUE. Reoeived June 12, 10.58 a.m. Sr DNEY, June 12. A case of plague is reported from Waterloo, near Sydney. The patient iu a rat-catcher at Blaukwater Bay.
ALLEGED ILLEGAL IMPRISONMENT.
Received June 12, 10.58 a.m. SYDNEY, June 12. Mr iiazleton. formerly Deputy Commissioner for Solomon Island, has commenced an action against the Crown for illegal imprisonment. He states that he was arrested and fined for flying the blaok flag with the skull and cross-bones on his sohooner.
