. Saturday. We have experienced very rough weather lately. The footbridge over Mathieson's Creek badly needs repairing. A very successful social was held at Kaitawa on Wednesday evening. A number of people were present froa Rongomai and Tane. The monthly social was held here on Friday night. The musio was supplied by Messrs W. and E. Evans and 11. Cooper. Songs were sung by Messrs J. Edwards and E. Goodban. and a recitation was given by Mr W. Evans. Negotiations are proceeding in connection with the sale of a 409aore farm at Rongomai.
