THE NEW HEBRIDES.
Received June 11,8 .55 p.m. PARIS, June 11. Senator St. Germains, interviewed, said tbat he attaches little importance to tbe Australian suggestion tbat Mauritius offers compensation for the surrender of the New Hebrides, and considers that the acquisition of Mauritius wouid not justify tbe abandonment of a position France obtained under the New Hebrides protocol.
