Ihe newspaper Figaro favours France securing Mauritius, while the journal Debats favours the partition of the New Hebrides.
COMMENT BY THE MORNING POST.
Received June 8, 10.30 p.m. LONDON, June 8.
The Morning Post declares that it is impossible to exchange Mauritius for the New Hebrides. It would be better to partition the latter.
